is a long-standing neighborhood, with roots reaching back to the original Uru Prologue of 2003. It was named after a beer by Prologue hood member DarthVodka, and was famous at that time for being a dancing hood; explorers contemporary to the period will remember that the “Flea Dance” was invented there, atop the hood's Heek table. In its Prologue form, the hood contained members from Mississippi to Australia, and all points in-between.

Amber Horizons (47) still prides itself on being the most friendly and welcoming of hoods. We are neither strictly IC nor completely OOC, preferring instead to adapt our communication style to those we interact with. And while the interests of our members are diverse, we share in common a commitment towards strengthening the Uru community: providing that crucial bridge between new explorers and old, and encouraging communication and civility between all players and hoods by way of example. Explorers looking to meet and hang out with friendly, knowledgeable people, who love the worlds of Myst and are happy to share their journeys, will find a home here.
